An Ode to the mesmerising Beauty of the Australian landscape and the power of contemplation

I love nothing better than to climb a mountain, a dune or even a tree,
going high up, to enjoy infinite views in their immensity,
delight my eyes with an endless variety of colours, shapes and textures,
observing clouds, shadows, and light playing together.

There quietly, I just watch, feeling peace and harmony,
I listen too, deeply, and in the sound of silence, with a bit of patience,
I hear echoes of an ancient language that blow to me,
the beautiful indigenous word “Dadirri.”
